Radio-based Services

If we can make a radio connection, the services we offer are shown in the table:

Download Speed Upload Speed Monthly Charge
25 Mbit/s 5 Mbit/s £36
50 Mbit/s 20 Mbit/s £51
75 Mbit/s 30 Mbit/s £66

Note that not all our radio connections are able to support 50 Mbit/s or 75 Mbit/s.

We can get a good idea of whether we can connect you from desk work but we always visit your site to make sure that there is a clear, radio path from one of our base stations. Trees and buildings will block the signal. Radio-based services have a service activation fee, which will be between £54 and £200 (including VAT), depending on the complexity of the installation work. The amount of the service activation fee will be advised after the survey and before any work is started.

Full-fibre Services (FTTP)

Download Speed Upload Speed Monthly Charge
80 Mbit/s 20 Mbit/s £38
160 Mbit/s 30 Mbit/s £40
220 Mbit/s 30 Mbit/s £43
330 Mbit/s 50 Mbit/s £44
550 Mbit/s 75 Mbit/s £52
1000 Mbit/s 115 Mbit/s £56

Full-fibre services are provided using the Openreach infrastructure and are not available everywhere. There is no connection fee. Contact us to check whether we can connect you.

Copper-based broadband (FTTC or SOGEA)

Download Speed Upload Speed Monthly Charge
40 Mbit/s 10 Mbit/s £38
80 Mbit/s 20 Mbit/s £38

Copper-based services are provided using the Openreach infrastructure and are available almost everywhere. There is no connection fee. Contact us to check whether we can connect you.

Note that the speeds in the table are maximum ones; what you will actually get depends on the distance to the nearest cabinet. We can give you an estimate. If you are more than 1 km from the cabinet, the service is likely to be slow and unreliable; we will advise against taking such a service.

4G/5G Services

Mobile phones can provide broadband connections using the mobile networks but the performance is variable. In some areas, a 4G/5G connection may be the best way of providing fixed broadband services. We install a special antenna on the roof so that we can get the best possible connection. This feeds a special router device that provides service within the house. The price of the equipment is hard to define because many of the devices are new; at the moment expect to pay about £200. The monthly fees are about £20 to £40 depending on the mobile network.

All our services are provided for a minimum period of one year. After the first year, the service may be cancelled by giving one month's notice.

A suitable router is necessary for all our services; we can supply one for about £25 (including VAT). Some customers may already have a router which can do the job, in which case we are happy to configure it to suit our network requirements.
